Shipping Questions
How Long Does Shipping Take?
Once your order is placed, our tailors immediately begin to make the shirt. after the shirt is made and the customised embroidery is done, the order is immediately dispatched.
Depending on your order, the shipping duration may vary. Please check the product description for the exact days.
Can I Track My Order?
Before your order is dispatched, our team will keep you updated throughout the tailoring process via email. Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a notification along with a tracking link from our delivery partner.
Why Does My Order Take 5 Working Days To Dispatch?
Avernè only sells customised shirts that are made after an order is placed.
Each shirt is made specifically for the customer who buys it, and the customisation takes 5 working days. Once the shirt is ready, it is dispatched immediately.
Returns & Refunds Policy Questions
Returns & Refunds
If any product you receive from us is faulty or defective, you are entitled to a 100% refund or a free replacement—whichever you prefer.
Since most of our products are customised for each individual, Avernè currently does not provide returns or refunds for change of mind.

Defective Or Faulty Products
While it’s very rare for us to send a defective product, if this does happen, Avernè will provide a full refund or replace your item free of charge, including all shipping costs.
A faulty or defective product includes things like incorrect embroidery, holes or tears in the fabric, missing buttons, or stitching that’s coming undone.
If a customer selects a size and the shirt doesn’t fit, it’s considered a change of mind — unless the shirt was made incorrectly or doesn’t match the size chart provided.

Damage Caused By The Customer
Returns are accepted only for products that arrive faulty or defective. Damage caused by the customer, will void the right to return. We inspect all returns and reserve the right to refuse any item that shows signs of customer-caused damage.
Our overseas quality management team photographs each product before it is packaged and dispatched. Any damage not clearly visible in these photos will be considered as damage caused after delivery and will be treated as customer-caused.
If we're unable to provide photographs that clearly show the undamaged product before it left our warehouse, benefit of doubt will be given to the customer and a full refund will be given.
Timings and Turnaround
Customers must notify us of any defective or faulty products within 14 days of receiving their order to be eligible for a return or refund.
As soon as we receive a returned item, a refund will be issued within 24 hours and a reciept will be emailed to the customer.
Depending on your location, we may ask you to return the item to our manufacturing warehouse in India or our admin address in Australia. Regardless, Avernè will completely cover the shipping costs for returns and refunds.
Refunded Money
Once we receive the returned product, we will issue a refund in less than 24 hours. The refunded amount will be the same as the final discounted price of the product paid during checkout.
The original shipping costs from your order are non-refundable; however, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Customisation Questions
What Is Embroidery?
Avernè offers complimentary embroidery on all cotton shirts. You can personalise your shirt with up to three letters, placed on the breast pocket side and the left cuff.
What Customisation Options Does Avernè Provide?
Our current customisation options include choosing between a slim or standard fit, adding embroidery on cotton shirts, and selecting whether you’d like pockets or no pockets on our linen shirts.
By the beginning of 2026, we plan to introduce tailor-fit shirts. This means you’ll be able to provide your exact measurements, and we’ll craft the shirt that fits you perfectly.
Any Additional Costs For Customisation Works?
All customisations offered by Avernè are completely free. If you have something different to what we provide in mind in terms of embroidery, feel free to contact us. There’s nothing we can’t do with a shirt!
Do All Our Giza Cotton Shirts Need To Be Embroidered?
No. Embroidery is an optional service we offer; however, all our cotton shirts can be purchased without it.
