Our Journey: From Naples To Down Under
After stepping into the corporate world in Melbourne, it didn’t take long to notice that men in Australia loved to wear shirts to office. However, the same handful designs and colours were repeated by everyone constantly.
On a trip through Europe, I ended up in Naples where the city had a certain charm. Old streets, coastal light, and a way of dressing that felt thoughtful without trying too hard. That’s where I came across the name Avernè. The tailoring, the heritage, the subtle yet powerful codes of style, each element left a lasting impression of just how well a man could truly dress.
That experience shaped everything that followed. Today, Avernè brings that sensibility to life. Our shirts are designed by our humble tailors in Naples, using fabrics sourced directly from Italian mills. Every material is approved in Naples before making its way to our production team in Asia where precision, care, and quality remain non-negotiable.
